Our dog loves the snow. Unfortunately, as he gets older, his paws can’t take the cold like they used to. Minus 18? That was nothing. Now we can’t make it around the block at minus 8.

We tried the little booties, but he would have nothing to do with them. I think he secretly likes it when I warm up his paws with my hands…which I have to remove from my mittens.
It seems as I get older, I can’t handle the cold as well, either. I’ve been wearing three layers since mid-December and if you count the fleece vest, that’s four!
At least I can walk inside, that’s not an option for the dog.
